The Honorable Fujairah’s ruler and a member of the Supreme Council, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, emphasized the crucial role that OPEC plays in keeping oil prices stable globally, particularly in light of the volatility that numerous political crises have produced recently.

In his view, the unification of oil-producing nations’ policies is necessary to provide a steady and predictable oil market.

While meeting with OPEC Secretary-General Haitham Al Ghais, Sheikh Hamad made this declaration.

Al Ghais praised Fujairah’s important role in supporting OPEC and the UAE’s significant assistance for the organization at the summit. He also praised the emirate’s huge port and its involvement in the global import and export of oil.

Moussa Mourad, the director of Fujairah Port, Salem Al Afkham, the director-general of the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone, Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, the director of the Emiri Court of Fujairah, and Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, were present at the meeting.
