Marasi Bay Marina’s takeover by OMNIYAT was announced.

DubaiMarasi Bay Marina's takeover by OMNIYAT was announced.

By extending their architectural know-how and heightened lifestyle concept from individual residences to a full, exclusive, ultra-luxury enclave, OMNIYAT has made a ground-breaking leap.

The Lana, a one-of-a-kind hotel and residential complex created in cooperation with Foster + Partners and run by the Dorchester Collection, is OMNIYAT’s first jewel on the bay and is located in the center of Dubai at the vibrant waterfront site.

It is also the location of VELA, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, a luxury lifestyle provider that debuted this summer and offers 38 upscale waterfront properties in addition to The Lana.

Mahdi Amjad, the company’s founder and executive chairman, stated in an exclusive interview with Arabian Business: “This is a phenomenal opportunity for us to redevelop the marina and create an integrated experience for all.”

He continued by saying, “In that destination, we will bring residential properties in north of AED6 billion GSV (Gross Sales Value) over the next 12 months,” highlighting the houses’ desirable locations.

Despite the interest in the Marasi Bay master plan, Amjad promised that more information will be revealed throughout the course of the year.

We have a lot of concepts in store ahead of the launch,” he added, implying that the project will cover a massive 400,000 square feet and encircle the shoreline. This was another indication at the grandiose intentions.

Amjad went on to emphasize OMNIYAT’s commitment to an opulent lifestyle marked by unique experiences and upscale design, which is especially seen in their partnerships with the Dorchester Collection and top design firms.

With ideas created by international architects, OMNIYAT Marasi Bay would cater to consumers of ultra-luxury real estate, he continued.

Amjad addressed the project’s attraction to purchasers around the world by saying, “Marasi Bay would appeal to a lot of European buyers, but we have buyers from all over the world.”

According to Amjad, this project is positioned to have a big impact on Dubai’s tourism industry, notably in the area around The Lana by the Dorchester Collection.

When asked about potential acquisitions in the future, Amjad responded, “OMNIYAT will continue to invest in new locations in the city. We will be announcing new purchases of specific Dubai locations over the course of the next 18 months since we enjoy developing fresh experiences in Dubai’s most popular locations. Now, we’ll try to link these locations to our upcoming waterfront project.

The Lana Residences, OMNIYAT’s current building at Marasi Bay, is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.
