The Sharjah Government declared its involvement in a number of high-caliber digital projects and initiatives at GITEX Technology Week 2023 (GITEX), which is slated to take place from October 16 to October 20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Higher Committee of the Sharjah Government Pavilion, which is in charge of the Sharjah Government’s unified platform, oversees it. In order to provide government services in a modern way, the platform consists of 11 government bodies, each of which presents 14 creative projects and initiatives that make use of cutting-edge technologies and uphold the highest international standards. This is consistent with the emirate’s visionary leadership, which places a high focus on technological innovation in order to improve the caliber of services offered to people and businesses in order to increase convenience, realize dreams, and contribute to a sustainable future for future generations.

Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office and Chairman of the Committee, attended an orientation session that was held by the Higher Committee of the Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2023 in order to get ready for the Sharjah Government’s participation in this historic regional event. An educational workshop on the specifics of the exhibition was followed by a session on the intricacies of procedure. This session was intended for government institutions participating in the show and served as a crucial assembly for the Committee at GITEX.

Together, they have fostered notable advancements in the fields of technology and creative solutions. We’ve achieved significant progress in this transformational path, and we’re dedicated to picking up the pace to reach even more milestones. These efforts guarantee the provision of top-notch government services that are perfectly coordinated.

The Sharjah Government Pavilion in the Arena Trade Centre promises visitors to the expo a distinctive and interesting experience under the theme “Towards a Sustainable Digital Future,” which embodies the Year of Sustainability and the emirate’s digitalization agenda. They will learn more about the innovations on display there and take part in a number of interactive workshops and sessions led by local and international partners and experts. The discussions at these events will focus on the most recent technological developments and trends, and how Sharjah’s government services may use them to advance and become more sustainable.

The Sharjah Government is looking forward to building on the successes it achieved during its previous participations in the exhibition this year, which will be the ninth participation in the exhibition’s history.
