To encourage successful collaboration and partnership, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) have signed a contract. This helps the two parties achieve their strategic objectives and enhances their ability to play their national roles in keeping up with new developments in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. The agreement was signed during the 21st Arab Media Forum (AMF) conference. As the event’s sustainability partner, DEWA took part in AMF.
The successful partnership between DEWA and DMI to highlight the advances and accomplishments in Dubai in order to speed up sustainable growth and increase awareness of the significance of achieving net zero was praised by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
Al Tayer stressed the significance of the media in emphasizing DEWA’s role in strengthening the UAE’s position as a global leader in climate action and in advancing sustainability and the switch to clean and renewable energy sources. This is consistent with the goals set forth in the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050 to produce all of the country’s energy needs from clean sources by the year 2050.
We back the Arab Media Forum because it helps us advance our efforts to carry out the orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
